And as a bonus, I write about Estonian immigration and relocation topics for both employers and international talent.

✨ Who am I and what do I believe in? ✨
I classify myself as People Operations Strategist and carry with me 10 years of HR/People Operations experience working with startups and established organisations. I am experienced in creating and building systems where there are none. At the end of the day, I will feel good if I see that I have made progress in designing effectiveness and rioting against static solutions. Deeply interested in making sure work and organizations do not take more from their employees than they are giving in return. No employee should get harmed while their organization is making a revolution. Instead of believing in and fighting for work-life balance, we should strive to achieve a healthy work experience.

Studied Political Science, specialized in political communication. Studied Human Resources Management. Worked 5,5 years in Estonian public sector in People Operations. Worked 2,5 years in a startup supporting companies to hire beyond borders and diversify their teams by doing Global Talent Mobility (relocation and immigration for international talent). Deep-dived into Talent Management area in a global tech company.
✨ Me and People Operations in 3 long sentences? ✨
I get captivated by all things related to the global workforce, culturally rich teams, leading transformation, organisation needing structure and guidance, nomadic lifestyle, leadership hacks, and well-designed company culture. I am not a fan of reactive workstyle, and I get excited being teamed up with people who possess a business mindset that is tactical, strategic, and long-term. Can’t get enough of educating people that reactive does not equal adaptive.
✨ Why am I doing this? ✨
I enjoy learning and challenging myself. I deeply believe in “train skills, hire attitude” and I focus a lot on bettering myself to grow also in my professional life. This blog is my way to escape into the deep People Operations world, see a bigger organization-wide view, and play with different scenarios, write something and then learn that I was wrong and argue against my previous thoughts and statements. It is about self-growth! And it is my privilege to share my learnings with you, as I love multiplying knowledge by sharing it.

Having worked in the software industry supporting Product and Engineering teams with product creation and development. From spreadsheets to an Immigration Platform.
